A Medical Practitioner will be able to manage any unexpected complications. Qualified experienced practitioners can use an enzyme to dissolve the filler should that be advised.

Generally, basic Dermal Filler procedures require no anaesthetic as the Dermal Filler contains local anaesthetic. It is simple and straight-forward, involving injections with either needle or cannula directly into the skin or just below the skin, and takes between 15-30 minutes.
